Le mini-recensioni del Cikko pt.2 JOHN LEGEND - Evolver
***
Focused on the theme of love (with some exceptions such as "If you are there", where the argument is even political), the third album by the great John Legend
style recalls some of the previous two, but without reaching level of the wonderful "Get Lifted". The first single "Green Light" with Andre 3000 is a great ballad and is one of the best tracks along with "It's over" with his friend Kanye West and "Everybody Knows". Not bad touch reggaeggiante in "No Other Love" with Estelle. Several producers participating in Evolver, including the Kanye, Will.I.Am and The Neptunes. An album definitely worth listening to / your / a partner, for love resounds in every note.
Q-TIP - THE RENAISSANCE
****
Here my opinion is definitely biased, because we talk about
Q-Tip: One of my favorite artists. The legendary leader of ATCQ
in this album back to the levels of "Amplified", which gave the maximum. The single "Gettin Up" and "Move" came out in advance, on both beats of J Dilla, had made my mouth watering. Then came "The Renaissance" and boys, what a beautiful cd. "Will not Trade" produced by Mark Ronson and "You" are beautiful, as well as the work by Raphael Saadiq. Only to disappoint with Norah Jones. Jonathan Davis is back, and he did it as always in style.
TI - PAPER TRAIL
***
I have read conflicting opinions on this album rather than around the web. In fact, he had great success in the States for a period of time by placing two singles in the first two positions of the chart (on the other hand I'm coming out six ...), "Whatever you like" and "Live Your Life" feat. Rihanna. TI
. is one of those artists who like most in America than here, a bit like the various T-Pain and Lil Wayne. Personally, I am among those who listen to him willingly, perhaps not purchasing an album. I do not think that will churn
never a classic, because the themes are always the same, but you can listen for its beautiful style in the rap and the tone of voice, in addition to the catchiness of the pieces. Production of Paper Trail are handled by multiple beatmakers, while collaboration is important: Rihanna, Kanye, Jay-Z, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Ludacris, Usher.
Raphael Saadiq - THE WAY I SEE IT
*****
Listen to this album and thought himself in the 70s. The feeling is much, much too nice. Of course we must be lovers of soul, the sound that comes from within. Raphael Saadiq
, the fourth exit, said he was inspired by artists like Al Green, Sam Cooke, The Four Tops and harmonic groups such as The Delfonics. Names are important for lovers of soul, and he manages to bring the sounds on this album, with his productions and his beautiful voice. The single "Love That Girl," "Oh Girl" and "Just One Kiss" with Joss Stone are probably the three most beautiful songs, but the album (which also include Stevie Wonder, CJ Hilton and Jay-Z) is put on the stereo and listen fully to relax properly and to send some problems to other country. To take the original, because it's worth it.
BLACK MILK - TRONIC
****
What the Americans call 'sophomore album "for the MC and producer from Detroit, and then had to be
confirmation of his skill, After the beautiful "Popular demand". Black Milk did not disappoint the expectations and pulled out a great product, excellent collaborations
using (DJ Premier, Pharaoh Monch and Royce Da 5'9 "among others).
We define then one of the best mc / producer in circulation , because of the beats strong, mirroring his style (dominated by the synthesizer), combines a technique that is the envy of mc's most reliable. The lyrics do not excelled not allow me to give Tronic 5-star. To listen to especially the single " Give the drummer sum "," withou U, "" The Matrix "and" Losing Out. "loud.
